Wreck #3

Well you heard it right folks. If you were traveling northbound on I-85 this morning around 8:30am and wondered what the heck that yellow truck was doing on the side of the road. Well it was mine and it could be totalled. Actually it is doubtful it is totalled but the I am sure the axle will need to be replaced and the frame is possibly bent as well. So here is the recap...

This weekend I guess I started getting sick. I didn't notice it til after Drew mentioned it while we were disc golfing down at the Ant Farm. Well I got home on Sunday after disc golfing and just couldn't eat. Got up in the middle of the night and was running a temperature and feeling just all round icky. Monday I called into work cause I felt like crap and hadn't eaten anything. Today I felt better and decided to put a half day in and go a little later than usual. That of course was a bad decision. As I passed the 85/75 split where the entrance ramp for 75 comes onto 85 north a Green Dodge Ram plowed into the side of me. I was traveling in the middle lane and this guy apparently lost control of his vehicle and I just happened to be unfortunate one he hit. He also struck someone else right after me for less damage. Lost story short...his truck drivable and mine and the other sedan were not. What makes the matter worse was that I totally forgot to get the guys info before he left the scene. That is right....the cop let the guy leave before I had all his info.

Now that is partly my fault sense that should have been on my list of things to do after a wreck. But because I was so pissed at the guy I really didn't even want to look at the guy for fear I might just beat the crap out of him. So now I have to wait three days or so for the police report to be filed before I can find out who this guy is.

All this happens almost 6 months after my second wreck and on the date of the 4 month Arnson Anniversary.

USDGC

The United States Disc Golf Championships started this morning. You can check out all the action live on their website. Even if you don't care much about watching disc golf scores over the internet, the site is pretty nice nevertheless.

Octoberfest and Cee-lo

This weekend was a total blast. Octoberfest in Helen was tons of fun but not in any ways cheap. It still was a blast to meet up with Brian, Lori and Dave at the Festhalle and drink the day away. Brian does need to learn to bootleg some rum with him at all times. For my first Octoberfest in Helen experience...I was it was a good one.

Yesterday we skipped kickball to recoup from the day before and headed to the Tabernacle for the Gnarls Barkley concert. Well my thumb is still sore so catching any balls would have been a little rough to do. Sleepy Brown opened the show and Big Boi made a guest appearance. Jazze Pha was also in attendance at the concert. It was an awesome show and the bands had a lot of soul energy. It will be interesting to see if Gnarls will have a follow-up album anytime soon.

That is all I want to say about this weekend...COTTON!
