Well I missed it again for another year. Talk like a Pirate Day was ayeterday and I didn't even know it. So t' make up, I have converted this whole entry into Pirate talk. For those not fluent in t' dialect, I have kept t' same entry intact below.
I must say it would have been loads o' fun t' talk like a Pirate at work. Answerin' t' phone who have been even more o' a blast. I be aye a lot o' people would have just hung up t' phone after hearin' "Ahoy, It's an Outstanding Day at NTB!" But we shall never know.

Well it looks like Dogwood Brewing Company has closed its doors. It is sad because I liked a good portion of their beer lineup. I have also supported micro-brews....so this is hard to take. So on the way into work today I took a small detour to take a look at the old place. Most of the windows were covered and the loading docks were empty. I am gonna miss that place and their free beer tours on Thursdays. So raise a glass to our departed micro-brew friend.
I went to court today and the power was out. Of all the places you might think that would have power even during nasty weather would be a government building. So court sesion were suppose to start around 8am this morning. After about thirty minutes or so some clerks came out to tell us they were gonna start calling names. This is in the atrium of the court with a 50 foot high dome ceiling. So three clerks and three judges positioned themselves around the room and started calling names. So with about 70+ people in the room names started to be called out one by one. Most had their court dates changed to next week. Hour and half later I still didn't hear my name and there were still some about 30 people around. I went up to one clerk who had gone through his list of names to be called to see if I was on his list. Two others were still calling names. Good news I was o his list and I appeared before my judge. Bad news was the fine was still pretty hefty at $159. No power meant I couldn't pay then and I have one week to do it.
Alright...I have let my room get into total disarray. So I am gonna clean it if it kills me tonight. So I got a beer, some chips, incense burning, some acid jazz playing in the background and a whole bunch of cleaning supplies. That does sound like a strange mixture doesn't it....wish me luck.
