..."Where the hell have you been Barry, your webpage is blank"
Let me tell you...working over 70 hours in one week will do that to you. Pretty much since the last time I updated I haven't had a day off. My reward for working for such a consecutive amount of time: Two days off in a row! I had yesterday off and today as well. So let's recap...
Friday night after work I went to see DodgeBall. After seeing that movie I wanted to start my own team. Hell I just want an official ADAA Dodgeball (birthday gift idea). Of course it would help if there was an ADAA to begin with. I treated both Hakeber and Token to a nice sit down dinner at Copeland's. It was good eats.
Saturday was a day of sleeping in late and trying to get some stuff done around the house. I started to install some new side mirrors on my truck. Finally got rid of the old elephant ears. The dang things like weight three times as much as the new ones I am putting on. I will have pics of the new mirrors later I am sure. While in the process of installing them I got a call from David asking us if we want to see the Laser show. I was game so we met up with his friends, got some chicken, and some adult beverages and headed out. What we didn't know was that it was Diana DeGarmo's Birthday Bash as well. So we got a free American Idol-ish concert before the main show. Diana was the opening act for a large piece of granite. I guess that is what you get for being first loser on the show.
Change of pace tonight...going to play Team Trivia at Rio Grande. Need some variety from Name-That-Tune Music Trivia. So enjoy the following links.
Super Mario War - Run and Jump on other Marios...multi-player action!
Ronald Reagan Memory Game - I actually did well at this...guess I have Alzheimer's
Flame-Thrower - Fine products from BMW (thanks Phat!)
WMD Countdown - Evil Doer!
So I finally got around to updating my Amazon Wishlist. In case you guys wanted some gift ideas...there you go. I think the plan so far is that I will be going away for my birthday. Georgia Mountains are always goodtimes. So I am not sure when and where I will be having a birthday bash. I really haven't had a huge party at my apartment yet. Always an option.
Other things that are not on the wishlist that I want include are the Classic NES Gameboy Advance SP with Classic Games. Hopefully Hakeber has that covered.
Well, I just heard about a few minutes ago. Ronald Reagan dies at 93. Can't say I was shocked at hearing it. Being a poster child for Alzheimer's disease, he was on the short road to the big white house in the sky. I know this is kinda sad to be saying this about a person (and a president) who just passed not but a few hours ago. He was the president that I grew up watching on tv. The actor turned president. With his crazy notion of "trickle-down" economics. I guess the Reagan years would not have been so bad if my family one of those few fortunate to do the money trickling. Mark my words...this is not the last we have heard of the Reagans for sure. For more crazy truths...play the Bush Game.
Went to the Braves game today...they lost.
Going to a BBQ....play this while I am gone...
