Redesign = done

Well not totally I guess....but really close. The main page is done and now all I have to do is edit all the other ones to look like it. The only problem I am having is that my scollbar color aren't showing up. In case you haven't noticed, I have added Movabletype to the site. I must say I was surprised by its functionability. Now I can update from anywhere. Oh the possibilties.... I guess over the next couple of days you will see increase functions on here. Oh yeah, stupid Stats4all changed their policy so that I can't use their stats/hits counter anymore. It was all of a sudden too. It stopped working for a day or so and then they came out with a email saying that it was no longer free and the only people that could pay for the service were those living in the Netherlands. Stupid Dutch People!! I mean I would have paid for the service cause the interface was that good. So all my hits are gone now...time to start over. Let me know what you think of the new site...

Test Blog

This is a test blog in order to see where it is placed on the site and what it looks like. blah blah blah I wonder if I can type straight html in here. Let's see....

Weekend in Review

Had a wonderful heterosexual weekend thanks in part to a lot of my close friends. Don't get me wrong, I have fun with GB often, but after that night at Richards, I really needed a weekend with some guy guy stuff. Friday night went out with Phat and Hakeber to eat at American Roadhouse and hear some blues at
Blind Willie's. It was good times...got to eat a big one pound burger and then follow it up with a whiskey sour while listening to
Francine Reed. The following night was dinner with some of my best friends from L'ville. I had to work that day, so the lot of them all went to the International Auto Show that was in town and then we all met up for dinner afterwards. The gang included myself, Hakeber, Clay (aka Sherman), Lynn (Sherman's girl), Tommy, and Dennis. We tried to get into The Vortex but I totally forgot they carded after 7pm. So we then headed to Gordan Biersch that was just down the way. Still had some good eats with some good conversation. I hope we didn't discuss all the patrons around me by talking about porno and anal sex. Today was Laundry Day after I got home from work. Lisa informed me that I forgot to mention that Pi Day last Friday... oh well. I guess I will have to catch it next year.

Ten Reasons I want to see Willard:
(to convince Hakeber to see it with me)
1. It is a remake from 1971.
2. Crispin Glover rocks!
3. I've trained rats before.
4.
5. No seriously, Crispin Glover does rock...
6. Oh yeah, Ben was the sequel but not as scary as Willard.
7. There really aren't any other good movies out.
8. I need another reason to procrastinate from doing school work.
9. I will buy dinner this time (and maybe even the tickets too).
10. Or we can wait for Brendan Fraser to be in the new Superman movie. [link]

Because your kiss is on my list...

1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not?
It really depends on the person at the time. Generally I like talking on the phone, but I really haven't developed the skill to do it. I see people around town who just seem to be at such ease when they talk on the phone...I am not quite there.

2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
That of course would have to be Hakeber. I think if you look at my logs on my cell phone, she would have to be the person I call the most. I mean I talk to her way more than I talk to my parents and friends combined. Okay, that sounds a little sad...

3. About how many telephones do you have at home?
Two telephone...one in the living room area and the other in my bedroom.

4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?
Well if you have ever talked to anyone from a European country, most of the time once they have finished saying what they need to say, they just hang up. It is like, "I am done talking now so go away now please". I mean, they don't even say things like "Alright I need to get going" or "I have some other stuff I need to work on right now" to let you know they want to get off the phone. But I think it is only older people in those country that do it.

5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?
Definitely write en email. At least you can think about what you want to say before it is sent out for the other person to process. In some cases, when trying to set up some event, it is easier on the phone, but email is just easier cause you can do it anytime you want.

Umm, yeah

Well since it is so close to midnight and the next Friday Five, I think I will just stay up so that I can do another post within an hours time. In the mean time, I think there is fowl play involved here. Yeah, I am a conspiracy theorist sometimes but everyone is at one point in their lives. Yum! Giant Cookie! Okay, that is enough....now to watch the clock.

Scared for Life

"Daddy come quick,
The dreaming tree has died
I can't find my way home
There is no place to hide
The dreaming tree has died."
-- DMB

Well after last night, everyone is waiting on me to recap the events of last night. The straight man's first trip to a gay nudie bar. Let me first say this though. Once I did take Hakeber with a couple friends to a nudie bar, but she did say she wanted to go with me on her own free will. I apparently did this out of blind stupidity because I felt I owed it to her. Now I consider myself a fairly open person and I am comfortable with my sexuality. This somehow just went a little to far. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life and I am still shaken by it. Of course I was made to get next to the stage and give one of the strapping young lads a buck. At the end of the evening, the three gay men and two straight women in the group were turned on by the visual meat market. I on the other hand still feel that I won't be able to conjure up an erection for at least a week due to those images being burned into my brain. So based on the skit "Men on Film" from the TV show "In Living Color", I give last nights events four snaps in an 'X' formation. Meaning, I never want to do or see that again.

Short day at work and I made $4k in sales

I should be doing homework but as you can see I have the attention span of a gnat. My chair is so uncomfortable, I dream of the Aeron chair at night. Currently my 'wants' outweigh my 'needs' right now. The list goes on and on with regards to all the things I want to get. Good thing I get paid this coming Friday. I have been convincing myself everyday that some of my 'wants' are really 'needs'. I will give you an example. I want to get some Wheat-colored Timberlands. Now I already have some other boots I wear, and it really is no longer cold weather so I don't need a heavy boot. Nevertheless, I go to the shoe stores to try them on, I search for deals on the Internet for them, and I think about the clothes I could wear with them. I even bought pants to go with them once I get them.

I swear I am not gay

After Hakeber gets back from classes tonight, we and a bunch of other people are gonna head out for a night of fun. Jenni, a girl I know from USC, is visiting on her spring break. Where are we going for fun...Swinging Richards. I guess this is my payback for taking Hakaber to a titty bar on my birthday. Of course you are gonna end up losing when you are going out with a bunch of chicks and gay boy friends. Should be an interesting evening to say the least.

I swear I am not gay

It must be conspiracy week for me

First off...check this out

Did you just see that? I swear that had to be produced by someone cause it looks too smooth. I mean, it looks better than the picture from the "ARK II". But apparently according to Michael, nothing looks better than this chick. Of course I think he likes it for geeky reasons and not the chick. I have signed up for another installment of Get-A-Clue which is based on the movie Midnight Madness, but of course you could say it has taken on a life of itself in recent years. What is our team name you ask? THE BURNINATORS! Yes, it is based on the Strong Bad Email. Our whole team will be decked out in cool Trogdor T-shirts. Time to go to bed, I have a tone of homework I need to do tomorrow after work. I updated pictures of my truck, check them out.

This can't be true...

First things first, I have added Blogrolling to this site now. I really don't know why I did though...I guess cause everyone else is doing it. I am such a lemming. The rest of this post is going to be devoted to a shocking site I just recently discovered. The site of which I am talking about is
8march2003.com I was just searching around the Internet for some of those wacky links I know ya'll just love and this came into view. Well after reading the whole thing I must say I was scared shitless. I am a big conspiracy person sometimes late at night and this just got those wheels turning inside my head. It was like a Radiohead song from Kid A just went off in the background and I felt like my IP was just logged by the NRA. In case you are too lazy to click on the link and read the entire site for yourself, here is the basic gist. Back in October, this guy found a beaten up camera and developed the film. What he found was pictures of a restricted area in which a vehicle was being held. The vehicle was named 'ARK II' and he suspected it to be a ship-like vehicle used for when the end of the world approaches. What makes it even stranger is the counter site to this one known as Mountainsub.com On this site the 'discredit' the actions of the person who took the pictures and pass it off as a contest for some prize. The freaky thing is that they give a date for which everything will be revealed (April 15th). If there was no date given, I would have probably been cool with it and thought these sites were just another Internet hoax. The date just makes me wonder what will really happen...especially the fact that it is the final date for taxes. Maybe I should forget about doing taxes this year cause there is gonna be a giant flood on that day. Freaky if you asks me...you make your own decision.

Worked open to close....damn I am tired

Time for another Friday Five...

1. What was the last song you heard?
Well at the time of this posting it is gonna be 'Hailie's Song' by Eminem. But of course right before that was 'Dammit Janet' from Rocky Horror Picture Show. I tell ya, Winamp comes up with some crazy random songs.

2. What were the last two movies you saw?
Well I just got done watching Undercover Brother. Hakeber stopped by the video store and bought that and Made. Last weekend I saw Old School which was hilarious. I always like a good comedy.

3. What were the last three things you purchased?
Here we go again with the materialistic Friday Five again. Well the last three things I purchased would be off of eBay. I got some Mr. Peabody patches, a Mr. Peabody Bobble Head, and some Neon for the truck interior. I will put some pics up when I have installed everything?

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
Homework, Charges to District Committees, Wash the truck, and eat dinner with the Rents on Sunday.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
Well I am in the tire business so I talk to a lot of damn people all day long. If I was forced to list them they would all be my co-workers then. And since there is no reason for me to talk about them on here then I am just gonna move on to something else.

March 6, 2003

Bad day gonna get worse...

My parents really fucking pissed me off today. I get home after a short day at the 'Tire Pits' and a quick lunch and I get one of those "We-haven't-heard- from-you-in-days-and-if-we-don't-we-are-going-to-take-you-out-of-our-will" emails from my dad. Apparently I was suppose to come home for dinner last night even though my mom and I hadn't even talked about it. This has happened many times before. My mom will have it in her mind I am gonna do something or that I am gonna call at a certain time even tough it is not the truth at all. This week was shaping up to be the best and most restful spring breaks I have ever had until today. The basic gist of the email was that they thought Hakeber was a bad influence in my life, they were gonna take away my money, and they wanted to let me know they were gonna take me out the will. Not the best email to get on a rainy afternoon by yourself. So tonight I am gonna fly up to L'ville to straighten things out. Maybe tomorrow I will still have my money or maybe not...who knows right now. Why does Murphy's law always have to be so right?

G. Stizzel in da hizzouse!

So once again I disappeared for a short while and neglected to update the site. Then I hear about it from one of my 'fans' and they get me back on the horse. A few people have also been asking me what new porno I have now and what one will I get next. It seems as though everyone is really interested in my porn that they want to borrow it. I mean I understood why Dave and Lisa borrowed it in the first place. Right now I am just waiting on a single guy (or girl) to ask me to borrow one. And if they did, I am sure I would let them borrow it. It is just funny how I know the same people who jokingly talk about my small porno collection secretly want to watch one. btw...my porn collection is only like three movies. I am sure some of the people who joke with me about my collection have gigs of porn on their computers. Grow up people and except your own sexuality.

So I checked out which is suppose to be this great new music sharing program. The bad thing is that it utilizes the .NET passport and MSN messenger to allow people to chat and share music. Plus it really isn't for file sharing, it is for playing music mixes over a large group of people. I long for the days of Napster, file swapping was such a breeze back then. If you find a good program, let me know cause I have like 12 gigs of music to share.
