Pay Day!

I am lazy of Fridays....that is why there is the Friday Five...

1. Where do you currently work?
Well if you haven't been reading the site and trying to look for pr0n, then you might already know that I work for National Tire & Battery.
2. How many other jobs have you had and where?
Well my first job was working as a library clerk at Gwinnett Tech. I worked during the summers in high school. During the summer, the big thing to do was inventory of all the books in the collection. I think I personally touch like 30,000 books in a weeks period. It was a boring job. The next set of jobs I got were in college working for psychology professors on their current research. The official title I think is "student assistant". The best thing about working for the professors was the pay increase. My first job I was making like $7.25 an hour and by the end of college I was making like $9.00 an hour.
3. What do you like best about your job?
The best part of my job so far is the increase in pay. Now I am making close to $11.00 an hour. You might now think that is much but when it comes to the slow months, that is really good. My job is part hourly rate and part commission. Unless you know that you are a good salesman, I don't recommend a commission-based job for just anyone. I am definitely putting my psychology degree to work though.
4. What do you like least about your job?
The thing I like least about my job is the amount of hours my boss makes me work. I am technically a full-time employee, but I never desired to be one. My intent was to go part-time once I started back at school. Well I now know that in ordered to pay the bills, I have to remain at full-time. So I have to work a lot of hours which doesn't provide me with much slack time.
5. What is your dream job?
Well I have several degrees of dream jobs. Who ever told you that college was the place you figured out what you wanted to be in life was way off base. I am 23 years old right now and have really no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life. One dream job I would like to have is to become a world renown cogitive research psychologist. This would entitle me to make lots of money off all the grants I get from the government. The other job that I love to do is to be an analyst for the FBI. I would love to specialize in case studies of serial killers and mass murderers. There are countless other jobs I would love, but working at NTB for the rest of my life is not one of them.
