I get paid today!

It's Friday mofos!

1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
Growing up my favorite superhero was Superman of course. I think my parents dressed me up in Superman Under-roos when I was really young. If I remember, they had some of those sticky bottom feet and a cape that attached itself by Velcro.
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
The thing I always wanted as a child growing up was Optimus Prime from Transformers. I think like every other kid on my black had him but I was stcuk with a few Decepticons, so I was always made to play the bad guy when playing with my friends. I may have had one Autobot.
3. What's the furthest from home you've been?
I think the furthest I have been by myself from home was in London, England. I went there for a band trip during the St. Patties Day Parade. THe only thing was that I wasn't truly alone. Even though I traveled as part of the band, my parents were over there as well as a small vacation. So walking around London with a group of friends we actually bumped into them. Kinda weird if you ask me.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Apparently knowledge in this topic area will allow you pretty much guide someone else's thought patterns. It then lets you have the ability to kinda control them and get them to say and do things you want them to. It is often used in infomercials for lonely men who can't get any women to talk to them. Then process then allows them to seduce women with great power. I would just use it to sell more tires.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Working... Life sucks that way. I was off last weekend so this weekend I have to have my tour of duty. I think I will like it though cause recently more people have been coming in on the weekends to get tires. It does suck that my life now revolves around work though. I need a better job.

Where the hell have I been???

I came to realization the other day (after someone flat out told me) that I hadn't updated my site in a long time. Sure enough, I ventured back to my site and found cobwebs all over it. It was truly sad too. So I am updating now as sort of a "moral imperative" If anyone got that quote before clicking the link I am impressed. Anyways, my life has been crazy recently. Work is slow and I am not making any money (i.e. working on commission sucks ballz). School sucks cause I am behind in reading and won't ever be able to catch up. It just seems that life sucks right now. I traveled down to Orlando, FL for a conference over the weekend which was fun. I made some new friends and then proceeded to get drunk with them. In the process though, I left my Nikon Coolpix in friend's house I was staying. I am hoping to get it back by next week cause I am beginning to go through withdrawal symptoms. And although I would love to stay here and chat it up, I have a drinking date with a couple of high school buds of mine back in my hometown. I will be back soon....I promise.

Why can't we get snow down here?

I am sure at some point, some of you ask yourself, "Where can I find the pr0n?" Well you aren't going to find any here (at least not anymore). I traveled down that long and twisted road and even thought I liked getting the massive amounts of hits that accompanies it. I realized the people coming to my site had only purpose in mind. Don't get me wrong, I like to watch pr0n as much as the next guy, but I didn't want people coming to my site with that being their only intention. Now things are different. I get about 1/10th of the hits I use to get but at least I know that most of the people coming are here to read my words and not to get off.

Recently, I think people might be confused about where my site falls into the whole blogsphere that has emerged over the past couple of years. It is something that is hard to define. The site use to be called E/N but that craze died down after everything turned into pr0n. I would call this site a weblog, but it more than that sometimes. If you notice, I am not really religious or political. This seems to be the biggest trend right now. People seem to be taking liberal or conservative fronts in cyberspace and battling it out over the digital air waves. The most recent news has been over issues like Eldred v. Ashcroft. and the potential war with Iraq. Let me tell you this, I am sick of extreme liberalists attitude. Plain and simple, no single American is purely conservative or liberal, there is a mix between the two. It is just human behavior that we must divide everything into little categories in order for us to digest them easier. The truth is that everything will start to blend together and there will be no lines. Some researchers say that by 2050, America will be 53% White. Ethnic mixing is occurring, why can't we have religious and political mixing as well? Deal with it people, America is going to war. People who don't like the fact we have things like freedom of speech and religion want to disturb our way of life.

But talking about such subjects is not my bag of chips. This site is about what I have found in my many journeys on the Internet and want to share. I like the funny things that make life just a little easier to cope with. I might start some House Gymnastics to help me get more fit. I already do plenty of bedroom gymnastics with the gf. Check out the icons do battle in this flash animation. Did you know that scientists made a song from the human genome? The only thing better is Mr. Cash covering NIN's Hurt (you have to listen to this at least).

Pay Day!

I am lazy of Fridays....that is why there is the Friday Five...

1. Where do you currently work?
Well if you haven't been reading the site and trying to look for pr0n, then you might already know that I work for National Tire & Battery.
2. How many other jobs have you had and where?
Well my first job was working as a library clerk at Gwinnett Tech. I worked during the summers in high school. During the summer, the big thing to do was inventory of all the books in the collection. I think I personally touch like 30,000 books in a weeks period. It was a boring job. The next set of jobs I got were in college working for psychology professors on their current research. The official title I think is "student assistant". The best thing about working for the professors was the pay increase. My first job I was making like $7.25 an hour and by the end of college I was making like $9.00 an hour.
3. What do you like best about your job?
The best part of my job so far is the increase in pay. Now I am making close to $11.00 an hour. You might now think that is much but when it comes to the slow months, that is really good. My job is part hourly rate and part commission. Unless you know that you are a good salesman, I don't recommend a commission-based job for just anyone. I am definitely putting my psychology degree to work though.
4. What do you like least about your job?
The thing I like least about my job is the amount of hours my boss makes me work. I am technically a full-time employee, but I never desired to be one. My intent was to go part-time once I started back at school. Well I now know that in ordered to pay the bills, I have to remain at full-time. So I have to work a lot of hours which doesn't provide me with much slack time.
5. What is your dream job?
Well I have several degrees of dream jobs. Who ever told you that college was the place you figured out what you wanted to be in life was way off base. I am 23 years old right now and have really no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life. One dream job I would like to have is to become a world renown cogitive research psychologist. This would entitle me to make lots of money off all the grants I get from the government. The other job that I love to do is to be an analyst for the FBI. I would love to specialize in case studies of serial killers and mass murderers. There are countless other jobs I would love, but working at NTB for the rest of my life is not one of them.

Look what I have done mommy!

Oh no! We are gonna have snow showers! I guess I need to fly to the store and pick up 20 loaves of bread, milk, can foods, and huge jugs of water. Cause anyone who lives in Atlanta knows that all hell breaks loose when they see a single snow flake in the air. I love the winter weather, it really is my favorite season. Of course I like Empire Strikes Back the best out of the Star Wars trilogy. What does that say about my personality? So with the winter weather approaching, I don't want to go outside cause everyone will be driving around like idiots. So I decided to do a little house keeping on the site here. I also added a photolog so that everyone can view all my wonderful pictures. Well actually most of the ones up are those taken with my Minolta 35mm SLR. I still use it, but now I have switched to using the new Nikon Coolpix 3500 for my website photos. The other will be for artistic photos mainly, cause the lens I have on the Minolta is perfect for close-ups. Other site changes have been the deletion of the pull down menu to the right. I think people were not actually using it to go to other pages. Plus the addition of a page that has all my articles and other random stuff I have found.

In college, the weekend starts on a Monday...

I guess it is time for another Friday Five!

1. Do you wear any jewelry? What kind?
The only real jewelry that do wear is my class ring from college. Here is a small pic for ya. I am not really big on jewelry though. It is the less is more kinda thing. Occasionally I might wear a hemp necklace or something similar but nothing flashy.
2. How often do you wear it?
I wear my class ring on the days I don't go to work mainly. I am not going to be handling dirty tires all day and have my class ring on to get all banged up. Work has one of those strict clothing policies. I don't even think women can have much jewelry on when working. Hell, I work in a tire shop and I can't even wear a hat.
3. Do you have any piercings? If so, where?
No piercings, although I did think about getting my nipples pierced at one point in time. Then I decided that it would look really gay.
4. Do you have any tattoos? If so, where?
No on the tattoos as well...I am very boring person I guess. I did think about getting a buzz on my upper right arm one time. I think that is still on table for consideration. One time while walking through campus I saw an older alumni jogging that had a GT on his arm and it looked pretty cool. Can you tell I am die hard fan?
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Work. Yep, since school has started back up again, I have no time on the weekends once again. The biggest difference between undergrad and grad school is the amount of time you have to devote to it. As an undergrad you can leave the campus on the weekend and road trip or whatever. In grad school, you practically live and breathe school. So this weekend I will be working and studying. My life is so exciting.

Barry is watching my new show...

Hey kiddies....that is right....it is me, Corey Feldman, again. You may remember me from such films as the 'burbs, Meatballs 4, and Lipstick Camera. Well it has been a long time since I have been back here. Well the reason I came back was to take some time to talk about my new show on the WB that takes place in a little over an hour from now. The show is called The Surreal Life and is on tonight at 9pm but every following Thursday at 9:30pm. In the show, I will living in a house will a bunch of washed-up stars from yesteryear. It is another one of those crazy reality based programs. I really can't figure out why I am on the show, cause I am still very much famous. You know what, they really should have gotten the other Corey to do the show. I mean, he really needs the work. Want to find out who in the house is like you, then take this quiz. Well enough with all this shameless plugging, I am off to do some super cool celebrity stuff using my celebrity superpowers....ummmm, yeah...(watch the show)

Whatever happened to DVDA?

I have to say it.... Russian Lesbians are hot even if they are teenagers. There I feel better already. So I watched Joe Millionaire this evening. It was totally stupid. All the girls were gold-diggers except for a handful. I mean, look at the website, you can figure out how lame the show is based on just that. Plus, I found out today that Joe was swimsuit model for some L.A. catalog. But back to the show, 20 girls come to a castle in France and get wined and dined by a guy who they think has $50,000,000. Then at end of the show he has to tell the girl he chooses that he actually makes like $19,000 a year. Cmon now, like the girl is not gonna go nuts. I mean she is just gonna get so pissed. And that is the reason I am probably gonna watch the whole season. You know what I would do if I have a ton of money, I would buy myself a superphat ride and put some 24" dubs on their.

January 5, 2003

pics, pics, pics

As promised I am back with a few pictures I have taken with the new camera. Let me just say it as easy as Val Kilmer said it was. So I decided to go out in my wacky hat and take some pictures of the apartment from the outside. I would have taken some of the inside but it is really messy. But I will give you a shot of Christmas Tree cause I realized I haven't before. So in no particular order of the pictures of my apartment.

My Apartment (from the outside):
The outside The outside again The outside once again The street My front door The lamp post outside my aprtment My back porch The parking behind my aprtment That our number The swing I wish was in our front yard

Gotta love the weekend

Well the work week if finally over for me....I have tomorrow off. That means I am gonna get some major shut eye. Of course that doesn't me that I went to bed early today. Heck no, I am staying up, drinking some liquor and watching the Falcon whoop up on some Packers. It is nice to be able to watch a full game without having to be at work at the same time. I am sure all my co-workers are doing the same thing right now.

Earlier today I went out to eat with Hakeber to see Chicago at the movies. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised about how close it was to the musical. I saw the musical when I was London long ago. It was kinda weird to see a play about an American city in England's capital. Besides that, it was a pretty good movie.

Even earlier in the week, I finally got my first digital camera in the mail. That is right.... Nikon Coolpix 3500 in the house. Right now I am just getting the hang of it and all the features. I am sure that the photolog will up on the site sometime soon. In the mean time, I am sure I will have some small tit bits for you soon to come. Well back to watching the rest of the game...

Prosit Neujahr!

Well I had a great 2002 (I think). Really if you think about it, you can only a small portion of 2002 and that portion is mainly the last couple of months. Sure you might remember important dates like your birthday and the day you failed football physics, but other than that....complete blank. This can be explained by the recency effect in psychology in which the majority of recall comes from the memories that our freshest in our minds. In fact, if it weren't for Google's Zeit Geist I would be completely lost. I do remember a few of my big accomplishments this past year. The biggest being that I graduated from college and turned right back around and enrolled again. A few other big things were that I got my first "real job" and I got to move into an apartment with my girlfriend.

With the new year, come all those crazy New Year's resolutions and I of course have a few I would like to tell everyone. Now not all of these are real, but I am sure you can figure out which ones are and are not...

P'body's 2003 New Year's Resolutions:
1. Lose Weight/Gain Muscle (on top of everyone's list)
2. Get another Sweatsuit
3. Get some new white adidas and put JMJ on the side
4.
5. Do more things with my friends and family
6. Continue my search for satire porn
7. Create a photolog for this site and take more pictures
