Rivalry Weekend
Well turkey day and come and gone. It has left me with two things. The
first of which being a new notch on my belt. I can't believe I ate so
much food. The second thing that famous turkey day gives us is football.
More football than you can stand. Football our your ears. And since so
much football is presented on an extended weekend, well they have most of
the major rivalry games played this weekend. Lots of big games have been
played already, and there are more even today. Yesterday
#2 Nebraska lost to #14 Colorado.
I must say that I was surprised by this entirely. Nebraska now has no
chance for winning the national title. But this game really wasn't a big
rivalry. Here are a couple of the rival going at it today and a few of
my picks. Now don't base anything on my picks...they are usually crap.
I thought Georgia Tech was going to win out this year...look how off I am.
Of course I may be biased. Already underway at the start of this update,
it places no surprised to me.
Oklahoma St. and Oklahoma.
Make no mistake...Oklahoma will be wiping the field with Oklahoma State's
a$$. This is just a stepping stone for Oklahoma's next battle with Nebraska
for the top dog position in the Big 12. I can see Oklahoma going up against
Miami in the Rosebowl. Another big game is the
Michigan and Ohio St.
game. Of course I writing this kinda late, so Ohio St. is already leading
in the 4th quarter. Ohio St. is probably gonna win. And of course I save the
best for last. Georgia and Georgia Tech is a huge rivalry. In the last
three straight meetings, Tech has won in last second victories. This
years contest is probably gonna prove to be another even match between them.
There is no prediction on this one...it could go either way. Well I am
gonna go watch some football...see ya on the flip-flop.
